Gardening and other things

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of visiting family members across the country, recovering from illnesses and Josh working hard to finish off his degree. I haven’t felt much like blogging but the longer I leave it the harder it is to start again so here’s some bullet point news to get me back in the game:

- In the last month we have seen friends and family in Devon, Tewkesbury, Wiltshire and Cumbria. It has been a lot of travelling but it was good to catch up with everyone before we move.

- Talking of moving, I have become slightly obsessed with planning for our imminent move to Pembrokeshire. I’m doing my whole ‘plan everything down to the last detail because I can’t deal with change’ thing which is currently manifesting itself in trying to choose the perfect cushions. We’re heading to our new house tomorrow to buy carpets – when did we become grown-ups?

 - If you’re interested in all my house planning you can see some of my ideas on my Pinterest boards here

- I feel like we’re currently in one of those ‘blah’ seasons of life. Nothing is particularly wrong but I’m feeling run down from a sickness bug, cold and chest infection in quick succession and Josh has been working a lot and has lots of essays and exams to work through before the end of the month.  We’re waiting to move but it’s still a few weeks away and…I don’t know, I just don’t feel myself! I’m sure it’ll pass soon enough and we’ll quickly be consumed by all the craziness of packing and moving and settling in.

And that is all I have to say about that!

What have you all been up to in the last month?

  1. Lovely spring pictures! We've been busy with having another baby - a little girl! Sorry you've been feeling blah, hope that passes soon as I'm sure it will with the excitement of moving and settling in.
