Valentine's Potato Heart Stamps

I saw some beautiful – but expensive – heart shaped stamps last week and it annoyed me that I couldn’t buy them because they made me want to be crafty.

Then I remembered there was a free option open to me that meant Ivy could join in too – potato stamps!
We had fun cutting up potatoes (well, I did), getting messy with paint and making some cards.

The finished products aren't going to win any craft and design awards but they were made with love, and that’s what counts with me.

  1. Ahhh! I love this! We used to do loads of potato printing as kids, but I haven't tried it with mine yet! An activity we'll have to try out this week, I think! Thanks so much for linking up with #SavouringtheSeason

  4. Too cute! Fabulous idea, and lovely photos. I actually sell cards, but I'm thinking the kids could make one of these for daddy, as they're irresistible!

  8. What a wonderful idea. I shared it on my blog with a link to help get people inspired to make their own valentines even if they don't have a lot of time left. Thanks for sharing it.
