DIY Gifts: Felt Flower Headbands

Long ago, in a land far far away I used to be artistic. In an attempt to resurrect my crafty side I’ve been making some of my own gifts and I’ll be sharing some of my favourites on the blog. View the rest of the series here.

Baby Headband Tutorial

My young niece has recently taken up sewing and a while ago she sent over a red and white felt flower that she had made for me. I wanted to use it somehow so I decided to make it into a headband for Ivy.

It’s really quick and easy to cut out felt shapes, decorate with thread and buttons and sew it onto a round of elastic.

They look great and it’s a really easy and cheap way to accessorise your baby’s outfit!
