Five Fact Friday

1. We went to Aberystwyth last weekend for Josh’s birthday and to tell everyone about the bambino. It was a bit of whirlwind as we were only there from Sat eve until Monday lunch time but I loved catching up with everyone and getting away from Cardiff.
There were 16 of us for an Italian meal out on Saturday, and then we caught up with loads of people at church on Sunday.

2. I can’t believe how much better I’ve been feeling in the last couple of weeks. I was getting worried that the constant all day sickness and utter exhaustion was all in my head but turns out that the first few months of pregnancy really are that bad.
I’ve been able to move around a lot more, I’ve been at work all week this week and have walked there and back every day (Josh was giving me lifts before) and I’ve been feeling a lot less nauseous and have been eating better.
I’m not feeling 100% yet, and although I’m pretty exhausted by about 5pm I can definitely see an end in sight.
3. Hasn’t the weather been amazing? We’re heading to the garden centre tomorrow to try and do something about our garden which currently has no plants!
4. My husband is a super sweetie. Normally we meet for lunch on a Friday but today he was busy. However while I was at work today I saw him sneak up to the front door on the CCTV and post something through the letter box and then run off.
I was so confused when I collected it and it was just a blank postcard with my address and an upside down stamp, but I later realised he was being super cute and romantic.
Does anyone know why? I’ll reveal next week – but guesses in the comments below and I’ll give you an online round of applause if you get it right.
5. We’ve got loads to look forward to as Josh finishes college at the end of next week for the Easter break. We’ve got lots of exciting things planned (we’re having lunch with the Archbishop of Canterbury on Sunday – HA!). It’s so nice to be finally getting our life back!

  1. So glad you're feeling better. Hopefully it continues to get better and better for you.

I can't even imagine what the post card means...that you're going on a trip? (that's a lame guess)
