Unexpected Blessings

I should just say before I begin that I AM NOT PREGNANT. Sorry to everyone with over active imaginations who was getting excited about my 'news’. Sorry…but NO!
Anyway, onto my real news…
You know how I always rant on about how amazing God is? How he cares for us individually and personally. How he wants a relationship with each one of us which will grow and develop over time. How he sees the little and the big things that we need and promises to provide for us?
And also how I rave about how wonderful my church family are and how I love them SO MUCH?
Well last week we got an email which blew me away. Totally.
It was titled 'Has the Lord got a surprise for you’
I read it at work and ran home. Josh met me in the hallway and we just stared at each other with our mouths open and then both exclaimed…”WHAT?!”
You see, God put it on someone’s heart at our church to bless us. He told them very specifically what to do and they faithfully followed him.
He told them to give us a car.
With a year’s insurance
And a year’s tax
NOT
EVEN
JOKING
Isn’t that mental?!
I’d only just been thinking a few days before that I couldn’t imagine a time when we’d be in a position to buy a decent new car…and yet a week later we are the proud owners of a shiny new auto that is infinitely better than our old car.
With electric windows, and a CD player, and 5 doors, and 5 seats, and air conditioning and a smooth ride. I can’t even begin to explain how much difference it will make as we begin our journey driving all over the UK.

Every time I think about it I just want to jump about with glee! We are so thankful to God for all his provision and how he blesses us so much more than we could ever deserve or imagine, and we are so grateful to our generous friends who make such sacrifices for us.
We are humbled.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”            John 13:34-35
