Sunday Joy

I’m currently meant to be writing a bible talk for our staff meeting tomorrow on Psalm 6 but I CANNOT concentrate. I’ve got it all planned out, I just need to write it. I figure if I get this blog post out of my system and turn off the internet later I’ll get it done after church?!

Anyway, firstly I just wanted to let you know that you can now read my posts in full from GOOGLE READER with photos and all. I’ve been trying to work out how to get full posts for weeks as mine were only showing up as extracts, and people don’t always want to have to click through to your site to read the full post. It was very simple in the end so I am HAPPY that it is done. So if you’re using Google Reader – go subscribe!

Secondly, I just wanted to share a picture of this clock that we got for Christmas from my Auntie [ignore the disgusting wall – one day I will live somewhere where I can decorate!]. Every hour it plays a different bird song and I love it! It’s very calming, except for the Barn Owl which does a terrifying hiss and the Cuckoo which always gives me a heart attack because it’s so loud!

Hope you’re all having a great Sunday. Check back tomorrow for some Valentine Cupcakes!

  1. A few people in my family have this clock, and I love it. It reminds me of my grandma who loved birds. I don't know that hers had a barn owl though. That may have been terrifying.

  3. Doesn't it wake you up? I have one of those really old alarm clocks with the bells on the top that look like mickey mouse ears. However, the ticking is so aggressive I can't use it. It just keeps me awake.
